Tryng to pull codes, cannot find STI connector.
I'm here trying to diagnose a cranks/no start condition. First thing to do is pull codes, right?
I can find the self test output connector (the bigger one) but no sign of the STI connector. Does someone here have a pic of their connectors they can share? I'm working on my 89 f350 FI 460.
I did a search in this forum, but it looks like the relevant pics posted by subford have been deleted.
Thanks! Mike

tested by checking for juice to the fuel pump relay, no dice. so on to the eec relay, no juice there either. the website i was following to do this diagnosis states that if that happens, most of the time it's an ignition switch issue.
that was it! i climbed into the cab and turned the key and pushed the actuator rod in a bit more and she fired right up!

i guess that tells me that i'll probably have to take care of the ignition acuator rod. luckily there's this forum to guide me through that.
thanks, all
Mike
However the ign switch is bolted to the top of the column under the dash and may just need adjusted.
