my 03 excursion only has heat at 45 +as soon as it stops it gets cold help

Just to clarify....your heater works when your going 45 + mph, but when you come to a stop it blows cold? How long have you owned the truck?

heater inop

i owned the ex for a year and has worked fine until last month sounds like a vaccuum prob

i have owned it for a year and has worker well until the last month

What motor do you have? 7.3, 6.0, 5.4 or 6.8? 03's have them all haha.

Sounds like the coolant is low to me.
