Well I dont think it got above 40 degrees here in College Station today. Or at least when I got home at 2:00 the Weatherbug thing said it was 39 at the airport. Tonight it's supposed to get down to 22! I should have went home for the weekend to Victoria. Maybe 150 miles farther south would make it a little warmer. Can't wait for the summer again!

 

My weatherbug says it's 19 right now with a 16 mph wind giving us a wind chill of 5. Yes, it's cold, been that way all day. I'm in the panhandle. We should get into the single digits tonight. Time to light the fire.

 

You got that right. My part-time house for school up here has a non working thermostat for the heater. So it's heat it up to 80 before I got to bed and hope its above 50 in the morning. Ah, what fun!

 

I know that feeling about heat it up and hope it's warm. I have a little space heater in my room and that's it. I come in, and it's freezing cold, turn the heater on like 1 ft from the bed on a chair and let it heat my blankets up. At least then I'm warm... The problem then is that my clothes are just as cold as the room is in the morning and that's not good. It was like 20 degrees here and I'm in the southern part of the panhandle. I didn't even check the windchill. Right now it's 51 so I've got to take the hair dryer out and put my mirror back on my truck. Don't have too much fun out there freezing guys!
