Well, if you believe everything in these salesmans facts books then you might be a little happy and you might be a little disappointed. Just take it with a grain of salt, I say. This is specific to 1966. The second page is specific to 1966 F250 4WD.

You can see the * next to the first option under "Engine Equipment" denoting the closed oil bath system was "Required for California". We were talking about that in another thread.

Anyway, nothing really definitive but since the 7,700 GVW required the 3,500 lbs front end and I believe you said yours had that it bodes well.

The number of available leaves in the auxiliary rear springs - and the overload weight rating - will probably raise an eyebrow...just guessing.

One thing I can note right away for myself is it seems to imply that the Radiator, Extra Cooling was V-8 only, but my 300 6 cyl truck has it on the original invoice. Of course, it is a 6 digit DSO so maybe that's the reason. It sure wasn't the Wimbledon White paint job...

So, I take it that your truck doesn't have the governor on it... Lol

Oh, it's interesting how several of the rims require the optional HD front axle. 19.5" wheels, and most of the 8 and 10 ply tires. Amazing what details there are in just those two pages, huh?

I do question 11 leaves being standard and 10 being the option. I think they had to have gotten that one backwards.
