C-series vin location

C-series vin location
On a 70's C-series is there a vin or serial number stamped into the frame? The door tag is missing. Previous owner is looking for Title, the the fire department is looking for any info, and the original owner is also looking.

You already know that I don't know the location of the hidden frame VIN on C Series.
The title and yearly registration will have the VIN printed on it.
VIN on Warranty Plate (door tag) known as the Warranty Number. FoMoCo says it's not for title or registration purposes because it's too EZ to change.
The usual reason: People replaced damaged left doors with used doors. 99.9% of the time, they failed to install the original Warranty Plates on the replaced doors.
1961/80: VIN is composed of 11 digits. The last 6 digits is the serial number, decodes to the year that the truck was assembled.
Metal Warranty Plate riveted to left door face, a replacement Warranty Plate with all the correct codes stamped on it and the correct rivets available from martiauto.com. Marti will need your VIN
In the late 1980's, Kevin Marti, a Mustang/Shelby "nut" in AZ acquired ALL the 1967/79 FoMoCo records when he found out that FoMoCo was going to THROW THEM away!
Beginning 1970: Safety Standard Certification Label glued to the B Pillar, has the production date, VIN, GVWR printed on it.
