Sounds like the OBS guys have a lot of potential this year! Like I said I am going for sure!
Most likely bringing a 2001 SD 7.3 with and a 2006 6blow as well.
I am trying to convince my friend to bring his rusty 'ole white' e99 7.3 instead of the new 6.0
Hes had that e99 since we were 16... and in those 6 years we have put it through he!!
He was great about keeping it maintained mechanically...but comestically lets say wasnt top priority! About 6 months ago we were in walmart parking lot... i got out and shut the passenger side rear door... about 8 inches of the pinch well fell to the ground! LOL
If all goes as planned, I should have Stage Is, T500, and chip in my truck, and if I can make enough extra $$$ between now and RRE, I'd like to have it painted by then. If not painted, at least get patch panels put in over the rear wheels, it's spreading fast there. But, on the other hand, ya never know, it might be a dually by then.............. Just something I'm kicking around.
I found a dually axle out of a 95, new brakes and 4 wheels for 200 bucks. I had been kicking that idea around too Bill. I just don't think I'm gonna do it though. I passed on the axle.
I don't know why, I just been thinking about it lately. I think a ECSB dually would look pretty unique.
I was thinking about it just because I tow all the time with it. I'd have to have aluminum wheels though,so the steelies would do me no good. Then the cost of converting the front, bed work, paint, etc., I just decided it's not worth it. I think I'd rather go with the 19.5 single wheel package. That is quite spendy too. Someday.
