She did ask why I needed all the new horsepower. I said, so I can pull whatever I want. She said, stuff that we don't have? My reply was, stuff that we don't have YET!
Let's see, that thing behind you, stage 2's in front of you and a stock turbo and transmission in between. Yeah I give you about 1 chance in 10 of making it to the state line, lol.
My buddy and I have found a few 35' campers or 40' enclosed trailers on craigslist we were thinking of going halves on. Just havent found the right one for right price!
Those enclosed 'toy haulers' or whatever are the best! One we found had a small bathroom, sink, stove, and two bunks setup in it with propane n all! You can make a heck of a party trailer with 40'! LOL

Well if I bought a trailer like that, the conversation would be, honey a new turbo/trans is going to be much cheaper than a new truck to pull that hoss!

Agreed! It's kind of like home remodeling projects for the rest of us. We do the work to justify the tools that are required.
Your right about that, I've blown the trans twice on the road so I got the John Woods trans. I said that's not going to happen again, hopefully! When she asked how much, I just said, "you don't want to know". LOL
No. Just heard from my inside source that a place where I put in an application is planning on bringing me in for an interview. My chances are good, but I'm not taking it for granted.
I hope to turn in two weeks to my current employer when/if I get a job offer, but if they were to say that they want me immediately, I would do it.
I generally don't like closing doors for myself. Who knows what could happen in the future?
