its a straight shot to knoxville south at about 2hrs 44mins travel for normal drivers
Are any of us normal though? LOL! What could be more normal than about a dozen PSDs rolling down the interstate together, taking up both lanes! It's gonna sound like a damn freight train coming down the interstate.......glad I got my train horn! LOL!!
How many of you guys have CBs in your trucks? Me and Tyler have them in ours.
I guess I should put my cb back in...it didnt work.maybe i will figure out what is wrong with it. I SO want a train horn...keep thinking about getting one.
I got one Bill, its peaked and tuned and ready to go. That will sound pretty cool all the psd together! I need air horns.....
I've got one too, but even peaked and tuned I don't think I could reach y'all coming from my direction unless we have one of those weird atmosphere days!
Ive got a CB! And it sounds good about the lexington KY thing.
We will have to find an actual location when the time comes closer.
I usually have the CB on to chat with the big boys! lol
I love my CB. I have to pull it out of my F150 - which I am selling tomorrow to a friend from church (Hurray - I needed that to cover part of the cost on my 350!). Now that I have a toolbox instead of a cap I am planning to mount the 8' whip antenna on the toolbox - that'll give me better pickup for sure. I wish it would warm up 10 degrees so I would feel more like being outside tinkering!
I've got a cheap CB that I bought from a guy from work for $5. It's a like-new Radio Shack one, I think. I just need an antenna, I guess. I need to dust it off and get it put in, lol. If nothing else, I'm sure I could hook it up on-the-fly and just run the wiring either through the sliding back glass or through rust holes, lol. That would be a temporary solution just for the trip, of course.

i have always been told that it isn't really the CB that matters, its the antenna. the best cb in the world won't go very far if the antenna isn't right
Buy it Todd!!!!!!!!! Use it for your honeymoon!!!!!!!
That's going to be a tough sell! I will have a trailer in the next few years, nothing close to that nice, but that thing sure is sweet. I've never considered a toy hauler, but it makes sense. Especially with the drop down beds in the back. Those plus the loft, couch and queen up front and you could have a party. We have lots of friends and family.
