Sooooo my friends and I are talking about taking the 35' gooseneck flatbed and hauling 2 trucks and all riding in the 3rd! lol

Couple hours from Champagne IL.
A few hours from Dubuque Iowa.

LET ME KNOW THO! cuz once Clay gives the word that we can book at the campgrounds im getting a cabin reserved. I dont have a camper and would rather not bother bringing my tent and stuff. And itll be hot down there and us northern folk aint used to it! lol

And if my friends dont go or we have extra space you guys would certainly be able to rent out a space for sleep. lol

Even tho these things are like 16x12 rooms with a few beds or something like that. lol

It is a ways out yet so maybe I can make it to another one. I went to the first one and after fighting a bad clutch and starter, I arrived the last night. But all in all it was worth it.

 

IIRC, last year it was announced about booking spots at the campground in early February.

The website has still not been updated as of yesterday.. I'm hoping to make it down this year, it would be my first time attending and it sounds like an awesome weekend!

 

I believe they will be making an anouncement very soon.my brother called and that was their indication.

 

It was confirmed by Clay at Riffraff that it is a go for July 18-21!!!! They will officially put a thread out in a week or so... Hide your women and children cuz we are all coming !!!!!

 

Sorry I havent been on to pass along the headsup, but in the SD section I searched for RRE and found a thread of people wondering the same thing... when was Clay gunna send out the notice.

Well they had told me you could already make reservations at KOA.

I called last week and got the last off the double cabins! Downpayment n all. Currently its just me going for sure, but i have about 4 people who 'potentially' can come with me. We shall play it by ear, but I for sure have a queen and two bunks in a heated/A/C cabin! lol

I got the cabin due to the lack of a camper, and this way all i need to bring is some sheets...clothes...and cookout and drinking equipment!

 

Wish I had a camper...maybe someday...but ill be there either way!
