Tell that to the Plunger & Barrels that need the higher pressure.
You will excellerate their wear if proper psi is not maintained.
Ideally you want 60 - 65 psi at all times.
If you drop to 50, 45 psi, not so bad, but I certainly would not want to run lower than that....Ever....

Jim, here are the fittings you are looking for. They are 15 bucks a piece, I think.
