Where can I get supercab brake lines?

1978 ford supercab F 250 4x4. I cant nail down anyone who specifies the long brake line from front to rear. Any ideas?

I assume you've already tried Classic Tube and Inline Tube.

But why not fab it up yourself? A tubing cutter and die kit (Autozone!) totals about $30. You may not even need a bender if it's an uncomplicated long piece. Add a 25-foot coil of 3/16ths tubing for $25, a few IFM fittings for $10 and you're in business.

Let me make some recommendations. First is a tubing cutter from Speedway Motors (Item #: 91089526) for $10... that's a sweet deal. The cool thing it is that one of the rollers is relieved for an already-flared end. Meaning, it will allow cutting and removal of only the flared end which is less than 1/4-inch long... great for reflaring old lines or double-flares which don't come out quite right.

Eastwood 49041... The tang allows it to be installed in a vise.:

Eastwood 49074 (or equivalent).. for those minor tweaks. I found a version for $10 at the swap meet:

And an example of possible results. The big loops were created by wrapping the tubing around a can of spray paint. EZ. :

Maybe I missed it in the post up there but if you decided to bend your own lines, and I suggest you do, make sure you get a flare tool that will do double flares, not just single flares. They'll have a little set of separate dies that look like little discs with a nipple on 'em that not ALL flaring tools come with.

That tubing bender mentioned above, shown being held in some dude's hand, work awesome! I seem to have misplaced mine and I miss 'em...

I did the same, bought my own stuff and got it done for way less. just be careful with the adapters for the flaring tool, they break easily if your not straight in the tube.
