Tow Mirror Mod
I like to keep my mirrors at full extension for visibility. Problem is that at night some vehicles come terribly close to ripping my mirror off. I know there is a mod out there to add lights to the 99-02 style Tow mirrors. I don't want to spend a fortune, so I'm thinking about doing this mod. Has anyone else done it? I want to see some pictures of they looked after the install. Thanks.

Peterbilt LED Marker Lamp
Part Number: PBM-xHP12 --I did this mod several years ago & it wasnt too expensive just very labor intensive. I got help from another member here but cant remember who it was now. Here is a p/n to Superbrightleds for the lights- Order the ambers. Also had to put a blinker relay in so they flash at the same time. PM me if you need further help. Worst part is taking the mirrors out to fish the wires through. Edit - These are the leds I am going to order as the ones I put on originally were a plastic stick on led. They did'nt hold up very well & are starting to peel off - Rather than try to re-stick them on I am going to just replace them with the ones in the link

Nope, never owned a Dodge. Why do ya ask?
Edit: Found the thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...irror-mod.html. I don't really care about the heated mirrors aspect. This was almost 6 years ago, all the links are broken now.
