Awsome Mirror Mod!!!

i have just seen something AWSOME!!! a 2000 expedition with 2004 mirrors?!?!?!?!?!?! AWSOME!!! i seen it quick and i dont know how to do it.. is it just a straight bolt on??? or is there any mods to the mirror??? PLEASE SOMEONE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS!!

not sure if that's 14 exclamation mark awesome, but i have often looked at those newer model mirrors with envy. they seem larger, but are they actually any bigger?

Oh, they're bigger allright. Just play chicken with some F350 coming the other way and you'll find out - hopefully without busting anything.

its not even the bigger issue... the blinker is alot nicer, i think anyways.. and also if it is possible to put that mirror on, then that means it should be possible to put the navigator mirror on, and add a toggle switch to power fold them!! wayyy cool!! does ANYONE know how to switch thease mirrors!!!

The mirror bodies themselves are interchangable. The wiring however might not be. Do a search for something like Navigator mirrors, I remember there being a thread about a guy who put the 03+ mirrors on his first gen. Navigator.

Actually the reason for the mirrors being compatible with the older Expy/Navi's is beacuse the actual door shape didn't change when they updated the exterior in 03. GL!
