Not really the right place for this, but it hits the targeted crowd.
I picked up a new "car" to replace my ageing, rusting F 150. It's a 2002 F 350 CC SWB 6.8 4x4. Way better for the 2 mile trip to work then the 7.3 and can pull my trailer in an emergency. It don't turn as sharp or fit in the same places, but you can't have it all. In 3-4 years it may very well be the new home for my 7.3 when it's current body is done.
Ok, Here's the question. I need the part number or a source for the hanging storage bin's that go behind the rear seat. They are also on the back wall of the regular cab trucks. I have searched for hours and can't find a thing about them.
This is a pic from a dealers site that had a regular cab with one in it. You can barley see the bottom of the bin in the top of the pic. Best pic I could find.
To the OP, I'm not sure ford supplied that part. I mean I don't know for sure one way or the other, but I've never seen a truck with one in it, and I've been around a ton of these trucks. I think your best bet is after market.
are you talking about the one on the floor? or something else
It's one the barely visable in the top of pic. It hung in the metal rings on the back wall of the cab. There was latch over one ring so it couldn't fall off and it lifted out with a handle on it that made it like a small tool box.
I have a Du Ha in my EC, it was a gift from my wife. Tools and supplies go there.
Does the seat cushion flip up on Extended Cabs? My CC doesn't. I have thought about building sort of a deck storage, to heck with the back seat. Only my dogs ride back there, a little carpet goes a long way.
But the DeeZee looks good.
Tom do you mean the seat back, or the seat bottom? I don't think any of the seat bottoms flipped up until the body style changed. 05, 06 maybe.
I am thinking bottom. I looked at the DuHa? and thought how cool is that, untill I realized my seat doesn't flip up. But some do, apparently extended cabs.
