Okay, Being everything didn't work out as well as I wanted, I decided to pull the starter and bring it inside to let it dry out seeing as everything everywhere was wet.
One of my battery cable leads broke at the terminal, so I have to wait till tomorrow to fix that half.
So, being my batteries are testing good.
I redid the solenoid ground.
So. I bring the starter in and took the solenoid off from it to clean that. It was packed with dirt.
Looks like it might be the original actually. The cup inside is pretty worn.
So, I pop the starter gear out and grab it and try an turn it and boy is it hard to turn.
These are supposed to almost free spin are they not? Slight resistance?
I'm really hoping I don't need a new starter.
But then, If this means the starter is bad, then I can always tear it down and see if I can R&R it to make it work again.
