Now THAT is funny.
So I guess that illustrates the difficulty in communication with the written word.
In this new age of quick communication, folks tend to throw a post out there and not be clear.
So my first tip would be to re read your post before you submit so that you're sure you are saying what you mean.
As far as your truck, you have to help us a bit. I'm a little confused as to your front end locking up after driving home.
Yes, this is happening in 2wd. U joints are good. How do I tell the difference between the d44 and d60? As far as knew only the 44's came up front. I was jokin about the power assist, I'm just gonna do away with it and put a direct link in.
Joking in the form of a question does not translate well on these forums. Comments in jest can be perceived as a real question so think twice about trying to be funny.. unless it's obviously funny.

The best plan would be based on the results of solid troubleshooting. Get the facts of matter first and you (maybe us) will go from there. Input=output

Again, I'm reading back through this thread and it can be interpreted that you are indeed expecting answers. Me? I expect you to do your own troubleshooting cuz we can only provide methods, possibilities, and recommendations.
Do some diagnosis... ooooooh, homework!!!
Note: The use of an emoticon in the preceding statement denotes the use of humor and irony that you're currently in school and we are giving you an extracurricular assignment.
Yes sir, I jumped to conclusions a bit. In my haste I didn't inspect my truck before heading home. I bent my tie rod while trying to get out of a hole. I bent it enough to effectively snap the passenger side end. It would get caught in my tire while in reverse thus stopping my tires. I feel like a horses rear. Anybody know of any good forums on here about beefing up a tie rod?
I obviously was not gifted with my generations computer skills, I can't figure out the photobucket. However, if you would like to see the damage done to this tie rod shoot me an email. 13bengsc @ inmanschools.org
