Heater Control Lights

could anyone tell me how do you change the lights in the heater control?

truck is a 85 f150 300 inline6

Just slide the radio out (don't need to disconnect anything) and then you can reach through the opening to the heater controls below. The bulb is the same type used in the front side marker lights (a 194 I believe). The light bulb plug/harness takes a 1/3 turn to remove it (like the socket/bulb in the side marker light)

Here's a pic of the back, bottom of the control unit. The light is in the middle. With the wiring attached, it can be a pain. You can unhook it, then it will turn as stated before. This is a newer unit, but the light is the same thing.

You can also reach the bulb from the bottom if you remove the ash tray...
