Heater control lights

Hey I read on here that some fellas are using light strips to brighten up the heater control lights,,,,,,,how is this done?

LED strips wired in...At least on the dash cluster that is what some folks do. As far as the heater control back light, have you replaced the bulb with new or went with a LED one?
