With the time change I have been driving more in the dark. This caused me to fix the dash light on one side to see the fuel gage. But now I am wanting to know about the heater control. It dose not look like it will light up but it never has for the five years I've had the turck, sure would be nice if it did. The tuuck is a '77 non A/C with duel tank switch on right of the heater controls. If it has lights are they the little ones same as the dash lights? I think I can squeeze my hand up there. Thanks for any help.
There IS a small bulb in your heater control panel,(like the rest of the bulbs on your inst.panel)its kind of a job to get at though:I usually remove my inst. panel cover then the 4 screws that hold the metal bracket (that holds the radio & heater panel)then a couple more screws from the panel itself so I can pull it out enough to get at the back, where the bulb is.
These bulbs can be had in different wattages, you can install brighter ones than stock which will light everything up even better.
While your in there I'd advise replacing ALL your bulbs as to not have to go in again for a while. Rick
