I purchased a set of springs off a guy from craiglist he stated they came off a 2002 F250 4x4 PSD he sold his truck so no way to look at the sticker by the door. The springs are stamped with Ford RPN 1702 2C34 CA. Can any one tell me what spring code these are. I am planning on installing them on my Excursion. Also he gave me some blocks stamped with 2C34-5598-AA. I tried to google it but not to much information. Please help...
There is no definitive cross-reference source for those codes stamped on the springs. There is a little anecdotal info that been collected over the years tho. I'll go check my saved info and see if you got lucky.

No offense but why on God's green earth would you buy springs when you have no idea what they are? I don't mean to be harsh, but for all you know you could have bought a set of worn out Excursion springs. Why take a chance like that?
"I looked around a little more and found where someone else also thought they had a B code 2C34CB and asked for help. I did not see a response. I think the 1C34CB and 2C34CB are older model year B codes and then the number changed in 04 to 3C34L. Not sure why Ford changed these numbers so often.
That's info I came across a long time ago and hasn't been verified.
Thanks for the reply, in case these are A codes is it worth to install them on my Ex, are these better than the stock springs, will they fit. I hear a lot about B codes but nothing about A code. Please advice. Thanks...
