So I know theirs already a thread on here about this. But anyways agrees the plug in the turbo for the EBPV or whatever it is. I'm sick of it sticking. Btw I'm driving right now.
Nope, wont harm a thing. Many people actually delete it. The whole butterfly valve, actuator, and plug are gone off of mine now haha. Its on the turbo pedestal, beneath the intake side.
It will help free up exhaust flow a little because that butterfly valve is gone. I deleted mine when i replaced my up pipe gaskets and orings which requires pulling the turbo. I wouldnt pull the turbo just to do the delete. I also deleted the plug when i redid my engine harness.
Nice. Well will I be able to un plug it without having to take things off to get them outta the way ? Like mine has an intercooler from a '00. So when I pulled the fuel bowl that had to come off too. What do ya think ?
Idk, go pop the hood and look. As long as you can fit your hand between the IC and your intake boot, thats all you need. If you cant its only a few hose clamps, nothing major involved if thats what you mean
