87 f150 wiper prob

my windsheild wipers are very hesitent and start to studder running on the the first setting and about 5 min on the 2nd setting. they will work fine for the first couple min then studder stop start stop and so on. would this be wiper motor related i took another switch off a truck i had and did the same thing. and also the washer fluid stopped working. it worked fine uptil a month ago. and now that the windsheild is freezing i tried it and it dont work and it wont work at all so i dunno what happened to it. i poped the hood and tried looking under while i was pushing the *** i didnt hear or so anything. nothing leaking or kicking on or anything. yes it is full too.

If your windshield is freezing you may have ice over the washer fluid holes...

Mine does the same thing, I ordered a new wiper motor. Pretty sure it's the brushes are worn out.

the motor is the little stems sticking out controling the arms or is the black thing back behind in the back of the hood.

i dont think the freezing is the problem because i tried it when its warm out and it dont seem to wanna work then either. maybe i could dump a little hot water on and see before it freezes over again.

Ok i just took mine off the parts truck now. Why does everything involve ripping a mess of other things apart. The one in my 87 looks a lot better than the one i pulled off the parts truck the windsheild wipers worked perfect before i ripped apart.
