10w-40w valvoline racing with zinc (not synthetic), I never really put much thought into oil except for the zink additive, I would be very open to a good recommendation though

Real Torque Monster

Induction hardened exhaust valve seat. The D2TE-AA came with induction hardened seats and a swirl chamber and the same ports as the C8AE-H and is a better starting point for an otherwise stock hop-up. Check
your seats, prior to 70 the seats hate unleaded so they will not have the hardened seats(better head) this head came on many of the "HIPO" 390's with 3 duces from 58 to 68, the Edsel had a 352 with 4.05 bore(390) but 352 stroke, a very strong engine that would burn all the fuel you wanted to feed it... send them to your local FE head guy... have him port and polish... Flow tech makes the proper headers for this head... low riser intake 3 inch exhaust with X to equalize pressure on the FE with 2 1/2 40 mufflers no more than 3 feet after the X... summit has a nice kit... Gear it properly for the diameter of your tires... use a rev limiter... peak HP should be around 5500 with peak torque at 4800... try for 100MPH at 6000RPM gear ratio
<table border="1" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="0" width="90%"><tbody><tr><td>D2TE-AA </td> <td> 360 390 </td> <td> 2.03/1.56 </td> <td> Note 6 </td></tr></tbody></table>
