so they finally found the leak
they said the O ring going from the cooler to the manifold is leaking
i think i said that right
so what would it hurt to leave that for a while and just keep an eywe on my coolant level?
remember i am having #5 injector replaced

No, repair it promptly, there is no coolant level gauge, you could drive tomorrow and it gives up the ghost, leaks coolant and your motor overheats and now you need a long block for 13k, if you know about it, fix it.
so i had the injector replaced and the white smoke problem is gone
i was going to wait till spring to do the egr but with it leaking around the oring im afraid could get worse without me knowing so next week im having the oil and egr cooler replaced
there is a very well recomended mechanic here that checked it out and the only moisture he could find was around the oring
he said the hose was not leaking
I have tried on 2 occasions to buy parts from Cobb's Diesel Performance in Lenoir City, Tn. First order was lost and had to stop pay on credit card, reordered on Nov,30 and no confirmation on order but card was charged the next day. FYI only

Is it where the coolant pipe attaches under the manifold? When I put in my delete I remember putting a lot of JB weld on that fitting, I was scared that it being under the manifold I would have to remove everything again if it leaked.
