I have just finished my egr install bought it from bullet proof diesel
Everthing went as well as expected. Now I thing its time to trade it in on a V-10.

HUH? Why would you upgrade the EGR cooler to just trade it in?

Did you rebuild the oil cooler also? If not, your bulletproof EGR cooler will probably eventually die even though it is rebuilt with significantly stronger tubes. It will just take longer.
Also, if the oil cooler is restricting coolant flow to the EGR cooler, you will probably get puking. The reduced EGR coolant flow will flash to steam producing similar symptons to HG failure. Been there, done that! The only way to verify if it is EGR cooler or HGs is with an Exhaust Gas Test Kit that samples air at the degas tank for exhaust gases. That is how I found my problem.
I also have a bulletproof EGR cooler but I have a rebuilt oil cooler and ARP studs. No more puking issues. I have the round EGR cooler and when I installed it I pressed a 1.375" freeze plug in the end that attaches to the downpipe. No more EGR flow and my EGR system components remain intact.

So very very true. Having said that, I have my stock EGR system intact, stock gaskets and ARP studs and no puking. I'm willing to bet I have more confidence then most with the stock system. Oh and my oil cooler hasn't been rebuilt. I still see a healthy 7-9 spread. After 5 yrs, I think I would have seen something by now.

But of course I replaced my oil cooler bought as a kit.
It must be nice not to have emission testing here we do no chance of plugin it.

It depends on what type of emissions testing you have. There are quite a few people that have EGR bypasses and are still able to get thru emissions. It just really depends on how strict that testing is, even then, there might be loopholes around it(maybe not for long, but right now there are).

Iv been looking into the bullet proof kit or a egr deleate but havent heard much about a bypass what does it consist of and where could i find one thanks for your help

Typically it just consists of welding everything shut and the scoop as well. They do have kits available and they usually(or atleast used to) run for about 300 or so. A good exhaust shop would be able to do it for you cheaper, but it would depend on if they would be willing to do it or not.
The good thing is that you still have a visual of everything, so it would still pass visual. Now some trucks need to have the EGR sensor turned off via a tuner, some don't. It just depends, but you would need to get a custom tuner to turn it off for it to pass OBD-II inspection as well.

so this would be about similar to putting in a freeze plug into the egr cooler alot better though with the weld and might see mil for egr flow if im reading this right was going to get the AE scanner but i dont think it would get rid mil or it might turn off but would probably turn back on for egr flow just trying to figure in all options
I am thinking about doing this myself. I don't have access to a garage or a ton of mechanical experience, but I have a good set of tools and determination.
How tough is it? I know it is probably an all weekend affair. Are there any special tools that are must haves?
Did you think at all about doing the Bullet Proof oil cooler change? I guess it is pricey if you just want to get rid of the truck.

It is moderately difficult you will need either to by the special wrench to remove the fan as it is threaded on or you could use spanner wrench like I did. If you want send a private message and I will answer all your questions.
