OK Todd, I think I just answered my own question. The M10-1/8 parker fitting is female on the 1/8 side, duhhh, LOL That's why only one female to female is required. Sometimes I amaze myself! Did your M10 come with a O ring and a metal washer?
And Bill, when you check that M10 to see if it works look in the end, why do you suppose there is a tire valve looking thing in there?

That's so it will hold the pressure in the gauge so you can look at it. To release the pressure you push the button on the gauge
Todd probably thinks I'm beyond hope with this compression gauge fittings, LOL While we are on stupid questions, you usually do a compression check on a warm engine. I don't see how that's possible on these motors. I'm assuming you pull all the GP's and go for it. My nephew keeps insisting that a compression check isn't necessary because the motor runs smooth and good. He says if it has low compression on any one cylinder you will know it.

I've never done a compression test on a 7.3, so would you pull all the GPs to do it, or just the one on the cylinder you're testing?
I would say it does not matter so much as you do it one way or the other and not change the method during. I personally would do with them out so its easier on the starter and the reading might be a tad higher
I knew you guys would get it! Lol. Glenn, the Parker M10 has a metal washer, not sure about the o ring. I tested mine one at a time. I didn't pull them all.
I know, I should have. IIRC, yours were all around 400psi, right?
380-400. Glenn, I'll be packing the trailer again today for the move, so I'll look for my adapter. If I find it, PM me your number and I'll text you a vid
