The truck is running like crap this morning. Started it up and had the smoke and the usual stuff, then it started running real rough, When I rev it as described before, lots of bluish smoke. I unplugged both driver's side UVCH plugs, rev it, and no smoke. I took the solenoids off the driver's side injectors, and found that two of the solenoid spacers were turned 180* different than the other two. I don't know if it matters or not, but with the two turned opposite of the ones in this diagram, it puts the spacer several thousandths closer to the armature plate. Does any one know if this would matter? http://inlinethumb47.webshots.com/44...600x600Q85.jpg
I took the solenoids off the pass. side too, and some of those spacers are turned different too. It's like they were alternated, one one way, and the next one the other.
Alians and electrical gremlins, damn!! (sorry, I'm not much help)
Yeah, and it couldn't have done this back in the spring when I bought it and had money saved up and was working lots of overtime! LOL!! It had to wait until I was broke to do this LOL! That's the way it goes though.

Did you verify the poppet screws were tight?...Did you measure them ?...

I can turn the armature plates, but they don't spin real easy. I don't have anything to fit the poppet screws, so is trying to turn the armature plates a good test to see if the screws are loose. I checked the ones on the driver's side with a feeler gauge, and .003 goes in very good. Just barely can't get the .004 in there. I haven't checked the pass. side with the feeler gauge. Rick, why would some of the solenoid spacers be turned the opposite way?
