I'm jumping in here around page 15. I haven't read through the entire thread, but area you getting any codes? If so what for? Do you have access to a datalogger? If not, do you need one? I have AE scanner/software that I can let you borrow. I have a laptop here that I am planning on wiping out and making it my portable logger, with just the software and all kinds of tech/diagnostic info on it.

No codes, and Mike is sending me his scan gauge to use. As soon as I can afford it, I'm buying AE.
I appreciate the offer Erik Is AE pretty easy to use and understand?
Yep it is really easy to use and understand. Once you figure out what you are needing wanting to watch, and what sensors you need to datalog it all comes right together. Buzz tests and CCT are wicked easy to do. Now it can also be used on SD's, but I tried it on my buddies and it has different things I was afraid to mess with. We were supposed to correct his speedo with it, but I was nervous I didn't know enough, so I was gonna read up on it and then try again. He went to OK shortly, after so it never happened.
I'm worn out from following this , I'm about ready to buy AE & a computer for you to see whats actually going on ...
........I'm gettin pretty anxcious to get it figured out too Rick! I'm gonna have the VC bolts worn out by the time this gets resolved! LOL! It's got to be an injector or oil problem. Maybe with the scan gauge, I can get you the info to help me figure it out.
As far as when you get that ScanGauge. Run a buzz test and a cylinder contribution test. Those should give us something.
I had a buddy with an OTC Nemesys do a buzz test and cylinder contribution test. Buzzed fine and cc test said it passed. I don't trust his scanner though, cause about half way through the second cc test, it started the missing real bad and I think it was only running on the pass. side, and it still said it passed. I don't think the scan gauge will do either of those tests though.
