DP tuner installed and......Wow
Well I bought Tom's (lostmybeer) used dp tuner that he had in his truck but his truck got stolen and the thieves totaled it so I bought the tuner for a great price. Had to have the tunes redone for my truck but it had 13 tunes on it so all I added was a 40 tow. Got it installed tonight and holy ***** what a difference in power. It is night and day difference from the banks chip I had. Some of the tunes I wont even use because I still have stock sticks, hpop, tranny, and fuel system but the 80 economy has sooooo much more power. I have the perma grin now.

Watch out! That stuff's addictive. I went from "I don't want to do anything to the truck" to "Darn, the transmission went out and I hear a tuner is better for the next transmission" to "I ordered my AC 160/100s, GTP 38R, billet plenums, CAC boots, and new tunes".

I know its addictive, I've had plenty of boxes with yellow tape come to the house and the wife would give me dirty looks. My next purchase will be a hpop, sticks, 38r and billet plenums and hoping the tranny will still be good to go in stock form.

No freaking way. To make it last longer, make sure your shifts don't "clunk" no matter where your foot is. I have a clunk in my 80e 2-3 shift at WOT that I'll have Jody soften up. Other than that one shift, all of mine go easy on everything behind the beast.
