Glad your dash pad was only bad at the speaker hole. Mine was bad everywhere. The cover really, REALLY made a big diff in the look of the truck. You'll like what you have done on the dash pad, I'm sure.

The original was horrible. The center part was all cracked. Bad enough that no screw would go into it. So, we got a new one. The pull your part place we went had a lot of mid 80s trucks to choose from so we go the best of a bad lot. It was only the speaker hole that needed fixed. All of them were like that. Ford didn't put a lot of forward thinking into that dash design. Anyway, the new one will be excellent and much better than my original.
