Also, I have taken pictures too where I've drained out completely everything in the Tranny pan, then unbolted it, dropped it and wah-lah, there is still some more inside the pan.

If you compare what's left in the pan to what's still in the torque converter that'd be like trying to top off the ocean by peeing in it.
yes sir. with regards to the external tranny filter cap, i've heard from somewhere tat there's a workaround on tat thing if u want to use a regular socket wrench. tats to tie down the lines. me? i'm not so sure. given my stupid self, i'm more than liable to break something. lol.

Maybe I'm just lucky but I've never had a problem removing the ext. filter. Even the first time it came off with a socket and hand ratchet. As I stated before I only snug it once it bottoms out and I've never had a leak. Happy New Year to you too and the rest of the forum.
