Is this part important!!

I was removing my FICM and noticed this bracket was broken in the air tube going to the turbo. It looks like the plastic housing in the air tube is broken and the metal screws are just sitting there. The screws are on a bracket that held the front side of the FICM.

My lower mount was broken on mine, the upper was fine.

As long as it isn't cracked into the inside of the housing you're likely fine.

On late '06 and '07 models, that bracket doesn't even exist.

Yea I don't think it is completely broke through. I guess mine is an early '06. Thank you for the help.
