body bushings will not crank HELP!!

Ok changed out the body bushings last night went well but now went to start to test drive and it will not crank.

I think I must have separated a wire some where everthing else works lights radio and so on, bat volt at 12.84 on both. Turn key relays click under the dash but no go on the solenoid engaging and cranking.

Any Ideas on where to start to look??

Thanks

Oh ya its a2005 6.0 crew cab 4X4

Ok for anyone willing to help here is some more information on what I have done.

I found the connecting wire coming off the starter jumped it to the bat starter will crank. Checked most of the fuses under the dash and have not found anything blown yet. Swapped starter relay # 307 with 306 still not help.

Is there anything on the body of the truck that could cause it to not crank after being lifted off the frame?

thanks for the help

Thought about that so I tried to jump off the starter solenoid wire that unplugs on the pax side under the hood. and when I jump it to the bat it will start.

make sure your getting 12volts from the key side and if so then you checked it. Cuz you jumped it and the truck cranks but it wont with the key. Thats how i do it on old Fords but these new trucks might be different. But since you checked all fuses, cables etc and when you jump it it cranks then id say the solenoid is bad.

Oh, duh, you didn't mention an alarm. Ford didn't have a factory alarm, so you'll need to figure out how your aftermarket alarm works, and how to reset it. I'll bet the motions you took on the body have the disable function set.

Ok got it fixed a couple days ago it was the alarm don't know how all power was removed when I replaced the bushings I guess just one of those things.

I ended up getting some wiring diagrams from a buddy of mine and started chasing down power.

This is to help anyone else that has cranking problems like i did .

I checked power at fuse 112 check for 12 volts, also check for power at fuse 103 they should have power all the time.

Then turn the key to run and check for power at fuse 31 you should now have 12 volt. This sends power to the starter relay that energizes 85-86 and pulls the contact over on 30-87 then the starter will engage if not check power at the starter if power starter bad if no power go to PCM and check to make suer they work.

My problem was the alarm has a start interrupt coming off of 31 the alarm went bad and would not let power through 31 had to jumper it.

tried to down load wiring diagram but cant attach or dont know how to copy it to this page. sorry
