I found this at the junkyard the other day, it's a HD Borg-Warner 5 speed, I think it is out of a heavy duty truck, the question is, which truck and what model/family is this transmission from? It's bolted to a 460.
I wish I could... there were some on the side but I couldn't read them or get the camera to take a clear shot of them, the frame rail was right in the way.
By the way, on the warranty plate on an 87 F250 4x4, what does trans code: P decode to?

EDIT: I'll go back to the junkyard sometime with a wire brush and some chalk, maybe I can make those number show up just enough to be readable.

P = Borg Warner T-19 4 Speed Manual Transmission / No Warranty Plates after 1980, VIN is 17 digits from 1981 thru today.
I ran it through the gears and I distinctly remember it having 6 gears, including reverse, but maybe I could be wrong? I didn't drive it, maybe one of the gates was broke off inside so it felt like it had 6 gears?
It sure does look like a T19.
I need to go back to the yards and take another look at this thing.
