As far as I can tell, the gear is working properly on mine, but the square ends of the little cable have been rounded off.

Nice. Will check the gear in my truck tomorrow to make sure it's the culprit that causes the issue. Will order the replacement from you after it gets confirmed.
Just tried to check the gear this evening based on instructions you posted earlier (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...2187651&type=3) Looks you already removed the plastic panel/cover under steering wheel before you get easy access to the pedals assembly. May I ask how did you remove the plastic thing? I was trying to take out the gear without removing it, but just a little too difficult. Thank you very much for your help!

If you are talking about the cover over the bottom side of the steering column, no I did not remove it. There is a black vanity cover on some cars and trucks under the edge of the dash that covers up the underside of the dash and wires, its held on by 3 or four push pins....that is all I would remove.
Thank you so much for your response, sir! Just carefully checked the instructions you posted again. So the only things I need remove are the three torx headed screws that hold the black plastic cover, nothing else, right? Is there something else, like some wiring and etc., that I need unplug?
One more question, on my truck, both the brake pedal and the gas pedal are supposed to be adjustable. Now both of them barely move. I noticed on the gas pedal looks there is also a similar gear cover. I guess there is another gear inside as well. So do I need order two gears, or just a single gear for the brake pedal will fix both of them? Thank you very much!
BTW: do you have some gears available at this time?

Yes, just the one cover off of the brake pedal. This is the spot that has the plastic gear that failed. The gas pedal will not be broken, thats where the motor is for both pedals. Yes, I have them in stock as of an hour ago!
Thanks, Curless! Will contact you to make an order of a gear.
