im trying to do the same thing with the doors. my bronco is a hunker. paid 800 for it. just a little summer fun and winter beater. i havnt figuerd out what im ganna do on the door hinges , but i do have an idea. as for the windows and spekers, the doors are off a f150 and have manual windows with the original inside shell. and the speakers were blown so im ganna wire some 6x9s in the roof since its hollow. id love to know more about the hinges if anyones got anything on it

I made a set by removing the solid pin in the ford hinges . I then bought new door pins for a early 90's chevy truck , I drilled the ford hinge pin holes to fit the bushings that come withe chevy pins . I also drilled a hole though the bottom of the chevy pins for a cotter pin to prevent the pins from coming out. I didn't have any wiring going though the door .so can't help there . removing the doors were easy as pulling the cotter pins and popping the pins out !

im doing somewhat the same as ak said above. but i went the cheaper way. for u who are familiar with tool and die, i grabed some case hardend core pins for a die block. im just ganna trhow thos threw, the new pins are about .010 smaller then the stock ones. wont rattle to bad but will make it easyer to pull the pins

I had thought of this for quite a while.
(I don't even have a Bronco anymore, but had even thought it would be cool with an Expedition set of for the sand dunes)
I had seen a 92-96 Bronco a while ago on Ebay where the seller had picked up junk doors and cut them way down like 1/2 doors.

I thought about welding up some simple gate doors out of rollcage style tubing.

i got mine done.. i took the doors off and grinded the tops of the stock pins and pounded them out.. they are about.350 in diam.. my dad works for a tool and die shop so i had him grab some core pins that are .340 in diam. their smaller so they slide out easy, but not to small so the doors dont sag to much. i can take them off by my self no problem. getting them back on someone has to hold the door up until u can drop one pin in.

then i bought some replacement mirrors for a 80's modle cj jeep on ebay for 10 bucks. took the simple brackets off and droped a bolt through the mirror arm. i just slide the bolt throught the pinhole on the body brakets and tighten them down.. i took it for a test run and then brought it back and timed how long it took to take the mirrors off and put the doors back on.. little over ten minnutes.

i made some boxes and put some 6x9s on the cealing. not nessisary if u dont want to drill hold in wour roof. but i liked the idea. il post pics sometime soon
