Door pins

You can get new door pins in the HELP section at Advance, Orielly, A'zone etc.
I did this on my driverside door a few years ago. If I remember right, what I did was cut the pin and tap it out. I'll have to ask my dad what we did. We might have drilled the head out.
The new pin is easy to install and has a clip on it.
The new pin kit looks like this.

I put in new pins and they lasted about 6 onths. Went to the junkyard and pulled good hinges off a different truck and haven't had a problem since. Have fun lining them up though. They are a PITA to get adjusted right, but that's how I'd do it. Just go pick up some off another truck that are in good shape. The pins I got were a total waste of time.

I got them at the Help section of the auto store. They came with pins and bronze bushings. Never again. I could never get the bushings to seat right, and they popped out from time to time. Maybe I put them in wrong. But I do know that I haven't had any trouble whatsoever with the hinges I pulled off a junkyard truck.
