I think that the sensor that I have is 37mm. I could have the wrong Tone Wheel. I can't find any listing or description of the Tone Wheel.

The measurement is from the end of the sensor to the surface where the sensor sits on the housing. It isn't the entire length of the sensor.

My sensor measures just short of 1.5" frm the end to the surface where the sensor sits on the housing.

I stuck a piece of tubing down the hole and marked where it comes out of the hole. The tubing measure 1/4" to 3/8" longer than the sensor. It looks as if there is a gap between the sensor and the Tone Wheel.

I was able to get enough light down the hole, and with a mirror I could see the Tone Wheel. When I turn the driveshaft, the Tone Wheel turns.

I can't find any information on the Tone Wheel.

Does it have a Part Number?

Do I have the wrong Tone Wheel?

Now you're getting into an area that I know very little. All I found out is what is in the Ford-Parts link above.
