NEED MORE INFO!!!!!!
Do you have just a heater or do you have FACTORY air?
If just a heater, is it high output (it'll have a plate on the dash that says "high output")?
If there isn't too much difference in the $$, I'd suggest the HO core. The heat output will be noticeable this winter. < 'specially with window defrost time.

The high output core won't fit if it has Factory A/C.
I know that it is physically bigger than the standard core. I'm not sure but I "think" you can cut the standard heater housing to fit the larger core.
Don't try the high output heater if you are not sure. As others have said they are not interchangeable. I looked at the two at autozone and the lines coming off both units are different as well.
no a/c, it was to cold to drive it home last night so left it at my buddys, so ill let u guys no tonight what it has for heat. also do you guy know of a good interior paint to use on these trucks id like to paint back behind the dash before i put it together
I just had a thought, before you order, look under your hood. See if you have a big evaporator housing, like the fact A/C trucks have. Ford had a not too common option called "Hi-Lo Comfortvent" system. This was essentially the Factory A/C system without the A/C part. I believe this was a 78-79 option only. If you have this, order the heater core for an A/C equipped truck.
