headlight problems

headlight problems

Hey all

I updated the front end on my XL to composite headlights and i'm having a problem with the passenger side the light is only getting 6 volts all the fuses are good, wires look good any thing else I can check?

it was working but then it stopped?

I have see bad grounds cause low voltage problems. Where are you checking the voltage?

at the plug for the bulb

Check the connectors/splices between the light and the fuse for that circuit
You have a high resistance some where on that line. Also check you
ground to the battery (-) it could be there also.
