I'm interested on how this post goes too. Since my truck had it's surging\no-hot start problem last week, I've been parking in flat bed wrecker access spots..*s

LOL, I know the log chain has left rust in the corner of the bed, Im afraid to take it out, this truck has a mind of its own two days of great running truck lets see what tomarrow will bring, two days ago ran like all day, what would make these trucks run bad when outside temp 80+ deg this is not motor temp or oil nor water.

There are No Values for Pulling a Load theres to many Varibles doing it that way

The Heavier you pull the More the Values will change

Ford values are taken in Park when HOT at KOEO and Low Idel and High Idel this way we can have a set spec that can be compared from one truck to the Next

About all you can Check when driving is Make shure the sensor Value does not go out of its operating Range

Benny, at the operating values by ford, does some of the surgeing look weird at all I noticed a few were bouncing around at hot normal operation but still trying to decifer the scan . also on a couple cold starts surged real bad seemed to run good with a load { may be I'll keep the Trailer on the truck from now on } hard to go thru drive up windows. Whats getting me is the truck starts good hot or cold. What Other scangauge #s do ya need ? .Thanks

MAP should Never Drop Below BARO

Baro sets baseline

IDK wheather its the MAP sensor or the wiring to it

you could try to unplug map and to be Honest IDK what will happen It might surge or smoothout

Clean MAP sensor and tube with some carb cleaner

And Clean the Nipple in the Intake manafold the MAP Hose comes from

I think the pressure from running Must Block the tube or mess the sensor up IDK I had been watcching it for the last few Postes and the readings from the MAP are way Out of Whack
