Bradford, slow down and get your head into this! ! You posted ICV at KOEO 0.05 ???? Are you sure?? EOT gauge is still not right ( engine oil temperature ) you posted. 4.96 degrees. It should be close to 200 degrees. Do your self a favor and re check all your X gauges and make sure you have them entered correctly. Big Red suggested cleaning the Turbo, have you entered the Boost X gauge to see if your Turbo is working properly (not rusted up, vanes sweeping like they should?

Well they starting to Look Better by far

But CVI should be 5 Volts or really close 4.98v

Part of the Issue with getting a scangaugeII after you have problems is you have to decide if the Gauge is Wrong code or Could that be the problem?????????Really makes it tough

I can check the X-Codes your using but a DVOM might be the ticket to

Your ICV at KOEO at .29volt is High so have you tried to unplug the ICP sensor and drive the truck and see if the surging goes away sorrey I cant remember this could also be from a CVI Problem what Im not shure on yet

ya its a PIA might have to unbolt the Degass Bottle and Push to Side same with the FICM

Then take a Long Pick and unhoook the Catch and pull the Wire

Iv changed the ICP under the Turbbo on mine to from the Top didnt unhook any Turbo Lines
Just these
Took out the Air Filter and Tubes to the turbo
Moved Degass Bottle to side
Removed FICM

and then changed the ICP

And beleive it or not the Hard part was plugging the ICP IN for me

Thanks Benny, I just came back from Tech folder look like the best way would be from the topside the fact that you can see what ur grabin should the ICP and IPR be replaced at the same time ? while in there I could dig up the funds, how does the IPR look ? the truck surged yesterday all day, ran like a champ no problems at all today?

Id just see what happens Either one can cause a Surge ICP or IPR

the IPR will surge if the Screen Clogs with Junk but usually dont surge to long before the Valve compleatly blows out and would surge Always untill blowout not on one day off the Next

The ICP will also cause Surge condition

Even a wire chaffe or V-Ref could cause a Surge and I wonder about this cause you say Good one day and Surge the Next

Did you get any Numbers during the Surge ?????????????????????

I wouldnt just start changing Valves and sensors yet the way it acts I have doubts its either ICP or IPR

if you unplug the ICP and still surges then the ICP is GOOD when you unplug ICP the PCM uses what called Inferred ICP so the sensor is taken out the Picture this sensor is Cut and Dried Good Or BAD

If you pull the IPR and screen is Good then IPR is likely Good

Will just have to take as it comes

Here is the Boost X-Code I have its Diffrent than what you have in the Last MTH Part

BST 07E0221440 046285140640 3010 01220320**** Boost (PSI). In order to get the proper boost value enter the MAP XGauge. Get a reading
from it with the key in the on position but the engine off. Based on the reading change
the last 4 digits of the MTH value that corresponds to your reading in the table to the
right.

14.0
‐‐ FF74
14.1

‐‐ FF73
14.2

‐‐ FF72
14.3

‐‐ FF71
14.4

‐‐ FF70
14.5

‐‐ FF6F
14.6

‐‐ FF6E
14.7

‐‐ FF6D
14.8

‐‐ FF6C
14.9

‐‐ FF6B
15.0
‐‐ FF6A

and Use MAP Value at KOEO to get the Last 4 digits

are any of these during Surge?? the values at the top??????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????

That makes me thhink ICP Sensor or Wireing problem

If the PCM could see the Surge it would Hold the IPR% way Down instead yours is High

the one in red was all at Idel
