05 headlights
searched and couldnt find anything really. Anyone tried these? difficulty installing?

those are 05-07 lights
they just give you an adapter for the wiring so you don't have to splice the ends to fit. the pricing is about $30 higher than normal aftermarket 05-07 lights.
I'd do it. The ease of not having to cut and rewire makes it worth it IMO.
FYI for aftermarket lights. Get a tube of outdoor grade silicone that specifically says it stays pliant/flexible. Run a nice thick bead of it all around the edge of the casing where front half and back half meet.

the aftermarket units are exactly sealed 100% all the time. putting new silicone on prevents moisture from getting inside and causing the heads to fog up

Those look like the same ones I bought. Mine did fog up after turning them on for the first time but havent since and they have been on for almost 2 months without further issue. Seems like I read somewhere that it is common for fogging during the first use but dont know where I read it. Keep in mind that you will have to cut your header panel to allow the deeper lights to fit correctly but they come with instructions plus there are numerous posts about it on here. I changed out my entire header panel since mine had been in a wreck so I updated my whole front end. Mine is an 01 with an 06 header panel, grille and bumper with the eagle eye harleys I got off ebay. Heres how mine turned out.

Lots of cutting! 
Doesn't hurt anything and is very easy to do. RotoZip type tool or Dremel with cut-off wheel.
I installed mine in just a couple of hours. (In the dark I might add.)

The cutting is easy and can be done in about 15-30 minutes (both sides) and then the headlights are a breeze! You might want to go to the auto parts for some small bolts and clips for the headlight upper mounts.

I just purchased a 2000 Excursion Limited with v10 and my grill is damaged was thinking converting to 05-07 grill & harley lights. Found these aftermarket claiming no header modifications, from Sinister diesel off ebay they have 100% feedback & wonder how these would work.

You can just click on my public profile, go to pictures and albums and see a few pics...i just put one there of the front end with 05 headlights, don't have many others just one with and without the lift.
