At least u have used yours...i havent even hooked a trailer to mine since i have had it.however that is why i got it since my dodge was such a slug with the trailer on it...
You know I have never put my imput in really regarding EGTs at the head vs those at the turbo. I have read through Talyns sticky quite a few times. Not trying to stir anything up, but I have ran a probe on the driver side header and one on my downpipe. I rarely can ever even get a 300 degree difference between the two, and this is only possible on the 140 tune at WOT. Granted my stock tune actually runs hotter on the DP than the 140 tune does. I am not shooting down anyones research by any means, but my biggest varience between the two was 300 degrees at wot starting at 60 MPH pulling Floyd hill in the 140 tune..once I got to 75 it started to cool down quickly in 5th gear
I typically never really see more than 200 degrees between the two. My guages are two identicle autometers. I even changed which probe went with which gauge a month back to see if one was reading a bit off, same results. Thermocouple are just a couple months old so I find it hard to have a failure this early on in the game.
Anyways I just wanted to throw that out there... not trying to stir anything up or bash anyones opinon, just sharing mine. Im sure there are a ton of others who have multiple pyros... My buddy has 3 in his truck and his results are very similar.
