timing question

What should the timing spec be with the spout unplugged and plugged in?

What year engine/truck do you have?

I believe the stock timing for the EFI engine is 10°.
There should also be a sticker/decal on your radiator support that has the vacuum diagram for the engine, as well as the timing.

You should set the timing with the spout unplugged I believe, and most EECIV motors are set at 10. When you plug the spout back in..the puter decides what the timing needs to be based on what all the other wire-connected things are reporting.
