Not sure why you didn't get responses when you posted this (maybe if you had started a new thread on it), but a scangaugeII would have had a good chance at identifying the bad FICM and $350 later Ed at FICMrepair.com would have had you better than new.

I do think a scantool is an important thing for us 6.0L folks to own!

scan tool seems to be a good investment.I have used mine several times while on the road.Got the info. and then called the dealer to see if it was safe to drive.

The funny thing with mine is that I drove it in the shop and only the EGR cooler was the problem. It always started.

Looks like Mike is Onto Something Here^^^

Either No Compression or Bad CAM sensor

If you Have a DVM you can check the CMP & CKP Sensors

I cheched them both. They were in sync. I still replaced them both. Two new batteries and a new starter. It sounds about like it always did spinning over. Can it lose oil pressure after the sensor not opening the inj? plugs in head oposite the branch connection. I am going to manually check fuel pressure.
