Tell me more...... I am pulling my 43 ft 5er, and my regain flashes on.... Pisses me off. Like only getting 9.5 to 10.5 isn't bad enough, now this **** thing kicks in and milage goes to 4. Tell me what I need to get rid of this crap for good..................................

So you have 43 foot 5er that weights about 13 to 15 loaded. I would say 10 MPG is good for that setup.
Now about the 4 MPG. Who often does your truck regen durring your pull? It should be RARE. I have not seen my truck go into regen while pulling. If you have a edge insight what are the soot levels before after you pull.
The other option is to delete the DPF and EGR and the SCR. That is not a option for me as I live in CA which has yearly smog test for diesels.
So without resetting the MPG calculator when you began a regen, it went from 9 to a 4 average?
Instant or resetting it when the AR began I could see 4 MPG during the AR duration.
I reset mine after each fillup. I usually fill at 1/4 tank remaining.
One regen has about a 1 MPG impact over the 3/4 tank I burned.
