I had a extra leaf spring installed on my 2011 250 after a install fiasco with airlift air bags. Am very happy with the outcome of this install, hooked up the trl and not near the squat it had before. Sits about level and handles much better going down the road. Just wondering if anybody else has went this route with the wimpy factory suspension ?
My 12,000# 5th wheel squatted the truck and gave it a drive line vibration. One added leaf leveled it and took out the vibration. Really didn't change the ride enough to notice.
I have been thinking of doing the same with my dually. Seems like it would help with the squat and axle wrap. Did you add to the leaf to the over-load or the regular spring-pack?

I had a extra leaf added to regular spring pack. There was only three to begin with, F250 2011. The one they added is on top of the two bottom springs and runs the full length of the top spring. The ride empty does not seem any worse but with a heavy trl it rides much better than it did. Truck sits level, and handles like there is no trl behind you. Very happy with this setup.
Hello Pacman, Guess i should have explaned. No they would not fit. Thred tilted airlift 57396 gets into it. Turns out if you have a job #2 build 2011 there is some kind of moduel in the way driver side. The top bracket will NOT go on. I called airlift twice trying to figuer it out, they were no help.

Sorry to hear you had an issue with the 57396 LoadLifter 5000 system. I will be sure to send this thread to my customer service manager so he is aware of it.
