Missing parts.

I bought an 01 f350 7.3l that had been abandoned and it seems they were trying to fix some issue. The injector driver module was missing as was the glow plug relay. I need some help figuring out what else is missing and I have not been able to figure out how to post pics I assume it will all be related. It is missing a sensor on the turbo exhaust(the turbo intake has to be removed to see it), and it has an unused two pin wiring connection slightly on the drivers side of the water fuel separator, it is the last plug on that wiring harness. But there is no sensor or anything to plug it into. If I can figure out how to upload pics I will. Any ideas or help is appreciated. Thanks

Pics will help for sure, use a hosting site such as photobucket, etc. Then post the IMG code in your post. Once you get 25 posts IIRC you can upload pics using the forum features, but even then, a hosting site is easier and uses less server space here.

Not sure on the exhaust of the turbo sensor, that you have to remove the intake to see? Maybe a sensor in the Up pipes to the turbo, that would be an EGT probe, not factory, again pics would help.

As for the wiring connector. Maybe the IPR pigtail, or the Fuel bowl heater pigtail. What color is the connector?

Second picture is the Glow Plug relay and Intake Air Heater relay

Third picture is the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve control... You can leave that unplugged, it goes into the bottom of the pedistal, but it looks like the plug is broke off.

Fourth picture is the MAP sensor... kinda important

Fifth picture is the oil temp sensor. Not sure if the sensor is there or not, doesnt look like it. It should be about half way up the HPO res, just below where the wire is hanging.

Nope... My suggestion is to contact Clay at Riff Raff Diesel.

Your going to need the mount for the MAP as well, its missing...

In the third pic the EBPV solinoid is missing,if I'm not mistaken the solinoid has to be in place, due to it being in an oil passage. Though you can run it unplugged, you either have to get a new one,and I think there a couple hundred frogskins new,or find a member that has deleted theirs,or get a pedistal with out one...

If you want to upgrade stuff you can use the OCR to replace the MAP mount I believe.

can you take the intake tube of the turbo and get us a close up of the turbo compressor wheel. Would like to see what condition its in. Why you have it off grab the wheel and check for in/out and left/right play.

Just putting this out there to you and the 7.3 forum; please forward where appropriate...I just upgraded some parts on my truck and I asked for the replaced parts to be returned to me for this very reason (FTE recycling) so in a box I have the following 2003 Ford OEM parts all in good working order:

Pedestal, turbo shroud, EBPV and assorted clamps, o-rings and hoses.

I am not sure if any of these parts are what you are looking for, but if they are - you are in luck.

P.S. Who the hell abandons a 7.3????

Somebody that ran without an air filter maybe? They removed the sensors to get another 7.3L running, but they leave the turbo in place? I don't like the looks of the turbo outlet or the boots... kinduh dirty. This does not bode well. I would seal everything off and clean the dirt before it falls into an opening on its own.
