Are you running the factory intake or did you swap back to the aftermarket?

Have you tried it without the FlashPac tune?

0.82-0.85v at hot idle (maybe as high as 1) - around 500 - 580 psig is normal

Somewhere I had some WOT values ....................
All the IPR and ICPv numbers looked good. only one that was more off than the others was the ICPv hot idle was a little high but not 1v.

ALL work was done by A Local professional in Scottsboro Alabama. New head gasket, studs, EGR Delete, Oil cooler, FPR "blue spring" kit, 8 new injectors.... hole nine yards. Got the truck back and it did TERRIFIC!! However, I drove it about 4 days and power went to the crapper. I also experienced a low boost pressure. It made almost exactly HALF of what the ABP(Anticipated Boost Pressure) was at all RPMs and with different loads on engine. It acts like i'm pulling a semi truck. Took it back to the Mechanic (figuring they'd know right off) and they had it a month and claim nothing is wrong with it. Throwing no codes, all Fuel pressure is fine. Replaced MAP sensor and no change. Same story with ICP Sensor. It made no funny noises and idles like a champ. When you shut the engine down the turbo seems to be spooling down like normal, and from a dead stop to "pedal to the metal" turbo seems to spool up just fine. I have been out of work for a month and a half now because of this PLEEEZZZZ help if you can! Thanks so much for reading!

-NOTE: I have recent posts that may (or may not) have information on what's wrong. I was going to post the link here but I can not find them.

How Low is your Boost PSI??????

When you Replaced the MAP Sensor did you check the MAP Hose for Plugage and Leaks. How About the Nipple the MAP Hose connects to at the Intake Manafold is it Clear they Like to Plug there

Not shure if your truck uses EBP or Not Does your gauge pickup any EBP Reading???

Another sensor to check here is the MAF Sensor

Post Values for these PID listed below
Boost
MAP
EBP
MAFV

and when take reading do Exactly like this below

Just make shure the numbers are taken exactly like this
Truck in PARK OR NEUTRAL all times during test
ECT at 190* or close to And EOT at 185* or higher
A/C OFF
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#1-------KOEO=Key On Engine Off =record value
#2-------Low Idel (truck idel on its own)=record value
#3-------High Idel (2500RPM)=record value

Post Values for Each PID listed Above

Have you checked for Charge Air Leaks??????
How About uppipe Leaks??????

a Small leak will really mess with it

Checked ALL turbo hoses including up pipe and intercooler.
Didn't check any of the above about MAP sensor. Will check in morning! I am not sure i know what EBP is.
How low is my boost pressure at WOT? WOT climbing a mountain? WOT climbing a mountain with a load? Half throttle? At idle? or an overall average of how low it is? I'm not real sure that it is low because i bought the boost gauge while it was in the shop so I do not have a previous pressure to compare it to. I'm only going on a buddies pressures as a comparison. I will get all the hoses and lines checked. Thank you all so much!

I was looking at some things on the truck today and got the oil filter of and it was trying to cave in. The only thing keeping it from it was the spring and spout that is inside the filter once installed. Is this normal? It also looked like it might have been trying to come apart on the bottom. Should I check the IPR valve screen? even though the numbers all looked good?

Oil and filter both were changed when "total solution" was installed. (don't have a clue as to what brand filter was put it). When I change it a ALWAYS use MotorCraft filters AND oil. The shop did that less than 30 days ago though so I haven't got a clue as to what brand. ;/ Highest boost so far was 23-24. I think it bumped 25 once but wasn't a constant 25 psi.
Also I noticed that the exhaust fumes smell very fuel rich. but there is no visual smoke. I think my "boost issue" was a gauge issue because my typical boost came back but nothing has changed as far as the lack of power goes.

What should my MAP be at idle/WOT? I have 100 at idle 225+ at WOT
Also what should my injector timing be at idle/WOT? Injector timing is staying in the negatives.

100 kilopascal = 14.5 pound/square inch
225 kilopascal = 32.6 pound/square inch (this is too high)

Do you have a tuner / chip / boost fooler?

well if he had 14psi map at idel and then had 25 psi boost when WOT then thats 39 psi MAP whats good

so his dont seem to bad at 32psi MAP

I think he needs to check at 2500rpm instead of WOT

and also take at KOEO for BARO MAP EBP

Sorry ..... wasn't thinking hard enough I guess!!

Since it was 14.5 psia at idle, that means 0 psi boost. That is OK.

The 32.5 psia (MAP) is actually too LOW for WOT! The 225 kpa WOT is actually 18 psi boost (MGP).

270 kpa is about 25 psi boost and is a lot more like it.

Thanks Benny!
